For those not following Russ's Youtube videos to closely or if you missed the wrong one

A few months ago he developed a production ready version of this more adjustable and in particular Vertically adjustable Final Mirror and Lens Tube holder
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76wW_uL-rOI and it is available from Cloudray directly but as of this time is not listed on their AliExpress store
https://www.cloudraylaser.com/products/ ... ad-bracket
The current new project is the Lens Tube holder shown a few videos ago but as of this mornings one he has gone ahead and done a small local production run of them
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W55YVMokjEM so for 30 Pommy Pounds you to could have one along with dropping Russ an email here 'russ AT sarbar DOT co DOT uk' it will come with some drawings back and closely followed by a Paypal invoice if you get in quick. Yes I am only posting because I secured mine

For those Non Colonials Pommy Pommie or the tradional Pome is used as a term of 'endearment' by Australians and Kiwis in particular often followed by a description of their mothers marital status when born

There is two main types used on the smaller to medium sized Lasers.
My 40W one runs a K type which is the same as what Russ had on his China Blue to start with as well. Typically Gold coloured. Russ has upgraded his Blue one to the C type.

The C type does appear on some of the 60W and up Lasers and most of the 80W and up. If you look at Russ's videos on the Lightblade it comes standard with one. The Lense tube is 24OD which allows for 20mm Lenses.

These two apart from the junky end of the K40's at a guess is 80%+ of the common Chinese Lasers we see for sale on Evilbay, AliExpress etc.

When I was setting up a Shenhui Laser for my daughter I obtained some lens barrels and I now have three different diameters of barrels that are all different and not interchangeable. Not sure where I got them but I have a complete laser head that looks like the Cloudray 'C' but the head that came with my laser 4 years ago is a larger diameter barrel, and I have one barrel in between the other two. All the threaded parts have been the same, so that solved the problem I had at the time as I got a couple of 11mm extensions that threaded between the barrel and the nozzle I had at the time.
I think that there is NO standardization in China as we know and expect it. I will be buying only from Cloudray in the future.

There is an E series I didn't mention @Gene rather than the 24mm OD of the C Barrels have a 25mm Barrel. The Nozzle threads are both 22mm so they remain interchangeable between both and both take 20mm Lenses. Confused me too

There is also the much bigger 30mm OD G series that runs 25mm Lenses and 30mm Mirrors but unless you are in the 150W plus category unlikely to be seen.

My china blue machine has got an black laserhead but how can I detect if the cloudray c-series laser head bracket fits to my laserhead?
So, the question is, can I buy a Type C head mount and it fits to my china blue machine?
EDIT:
Oh, I saw the video for the lightweight heay again and my question was answered directly. For a china blue machine I do not need a head mounting thing from chloudray, I only have use the acrylic parts from his package, isn't it?

Without rewatching it that is my understanding of the vertically mounted heads. Even if you need more travel then elongating the slots on the bracket will give you some more. When mine gets here I will post up some still shots of the parts and I also have one of Russ's Adjustable brackets coming in from Cloudray soon.

So part one has arrived from nearly half way around the world. Looks just like it did on the packet too

All the metal parts have I think been bead blasted or rumbled so all the edges are broken and shouldn't cause any red leakage while installing and using.
More when the other bits arrive from Cloudray.

				WARNING :
I have a China Red with 12mm rail bearings and small diameter X axis pulleys. Russ' sliding mount for either head from Cloudray will NOT fit under the drive belt. He gave me the drawings, and I have manufactured a different sliding mech. but still has the same hole pattern for the new light weight head. Will do final assembly and test in a week or so. The real world won't let me get back to it until then.

Where did you order this kit from? Can you provide a link?
Also, you refer to Part 2. Can you provide a link for that also?
Much appreciated, Chad
