hi all
I happened across this site as I was looking for a solution to a problem I was having with RDWorks and am very happy to be able to join up.

I am in my late sixties and still working as a sculptor. I find the laser useful in many ways, making templates, tools, jigs as well as items fabricated from plywood and acrylic.

I have recently bought a Argus/Sunic SC1060 80Watt model to replace a GWeike 80Watt machine, expecting to find a similar level of ability. In reality, the new machine has a lot more to offer and this is currently a learning challenge for the time available. Similarly, RDWorks has a lot more to offer than LaserCut 3.5 and I'm hoping to find productive trails through that.

That's it for now.

Stay well all.

best regards
Roger

Welcome Roger. RDWorks certainly is a step or two better than Laser Cut..Lightburn is a step above RDWorks. But Lightburn must be purchased. Look about you are sure to find something of use here and if you have a question ask..someone will chime in.
We also have a revised manual you. Ay find of use.
