Hi,
My name is Chris and I'm from Sydney, Australia. I work at Woodpatch, and we make all sorts of timber products from serving and grazing boards to furniture, and mill our own timber slabs, posts and rails. I built our first laser out of a old repurposed 3D printer with a diode-based laser, with only about a 300 x 300mm (~12" x 12") enraving footprint. After our engraving service became popular, we upgraded to a 130W CO2 based laser with a 900mm x 600mm (~36" x 24") footprint
