Second pix did not load. I built the same one and was so impressed I designed a rotary using the same principal but with 20mm aluminum extrusions and fittings which is more robust and easier to adjust. Let me know if you want the files/ instructions. Gene

Wow, out of aluminum! That must be awesome! It really is an engineering marvel. Its very smart to ths toward device used by my uv printer at work. Only that one uses thd linear motion of thd bed moving in and out rather than the x gantry.

I'm loving it!

Hey Gene, thanks for the offer of the files. I would love to take a look at them and see if it's something I can pull off. I'm pretty sure I could, I have a metal saw and bench grinder etc... as well as tons of other tools. It's amazing what you can acquire over 51 years on the planet. I can PM you my email if that works?

Yep, send my your email- here is a teaser of what you are getting into. Everything is 20x20mm extrusion or laser cut plastic. I used 3D printer leadscrews to adjust the height on the one end- that is the trickiest part and still pretty easy if you are good with your hands. I also have Fusion 360 files for everything.

John, I built Gene's version of the rotary quite some time ago. I made a few modifications to make it attach rigid to my gantry. It works so well I have not used anything else since.
