Hi, my name is Hector and I am a woodworker, luthier and two years ago I started to experiment with new ideas with the addition of Co2 laser engraving and CNC machining on my crafts. I dedicate my time mostly to instruments that I build my self. This will be the pinnacle of my master craftsman touch to add custom engraving to the instruments. I build a lot of projects over the years but I was missing some of the finer details that engraving and CNC (X-Carve) bring to the table. I am also a novice electronic tinkler a trade that I bring from my days in the service.

I have a blue and white 300X500 40w Chinese Co2 laser that I purchase mainly to start a project that I had in mind. So needless to say my blue and white 40w Chinese lasers have had a bit of a transformation over the past year. All thanks to Russ and his inspiring mind. I have drilled, cut, weld, solder, and fix some components on this machine. I have really been surprised that as many of these machines that have been sold worldwide and no one has stood up a market place for just mods parts or replacement components other than the bigger distributors like CloudRay which I buy from a lot. Of course, I have other vendors like AliExpress and cannot leave out Amazon which saved my life during the pandemic.

That's it for now if you want to find more about me I am on social media or at hht://www.tainownorks.com

Welcome Hector- you look like you may be of my vintage. I also have a cnc and find the laser to be better at a lot of things, largest of which is not having to figure out a way of holding down the part. Let us know if we can help you in any way, Gene

Your link does not open for me BTW.

Thank you... :D :D sorry about the link. I have a vision problem and sometimes I miss a letter here and there when I write. I had a traumatic brain injury that affected my vision. The TBI is what put me on the road to challenging hobbies and new trade Hence my engagement into CNC and Lasers...
My website is: https://www.tainoworks.com :) My son is responsible for maintaining it but he has been doing other this lately.
