I do most of my 3D work in Fusion 360 but often you need to modify an existing .stl file to get the part of it that is important to you personally. And often if you detach part of a print and print the parts separately you will get a much better whole after gluing it back together. I have been using it more and more for more and more 'things'- and it is free from the nice people at Autodesk.

Yes, this is a program to have in the tools collection. Too bad it's abandoned and won't be upgraded, AFAIK, it would be nice to be open sourced.

I need [want] to have 'tree' supports to print a 'Tempus Fugit' which is a winged hourglass that is on the end of the staff of most Plague Doctor figures, and I am kinda fond of... and rather apropos with the current plague.
