Hello from North Texas

I'm a EE currently working with 3d printers and currently waiting for an OM tech 50W to come in. I have some experience using a 50W Epilog from nearby library and excited to make things out of acrylic, wood, and laserable rubber.

Welcome Jonathan- lasers are a wonderful thing, and I enjoy 3D printing [and designing] as well. Read as much as you like as there is a lot of info here and then ask whatever questions you may have. Gene

Hello! I'm also from North Texas and received my OM Tech 60 watt last week. I am very slow about getting things set up. I too had a Universal Laser (like an Epilogue) before I retired in 2016. I am still having some problems getting started, but thought we might want to commiserate on some of the issues. this is my very first post, so I am not sure what is allowed.
