Ramp cutting issues - I think...

So I am using a China red and black 100w laser and I am experiencing a weird ramping in and out of any engraving I try to do. It does not matter if I am on Y or X axis engraving. Ramp effects are set to zero. Speed does not matter nor does power levels. This is an issue that popped up one day and has gotten worse over time.

I have imported settings from another similar laser to no better result. I believe I need to change settings directly on the laser, however I can not get into any settings on the Ruida controller. Only options are for a factory reset and or function reset.

I am out of ideas here.... I have tried everything I can get into to change. Any ideas!?

If you're talking about the vendor settings, the pswd is RD8888, same on the controller.

Looks like you need to adjust Reverse Interval settings. See this article.

Thanks Dave, I have the vendor access codes, but I can not change anything that will help the problem there. I have tried a profile from another machine and still no change.

I will have to check this out. Like i mentioned earlier, I have loaded a separate machine profile into this one with no luck. Perhaps that does not change with a profile. I will take a look at this tomorrow and with any luck that will fix it.

However, on a separate note, this has been a problem that has gotten worse over time. So perhaps its a control boards issue?

Also, the problem seems to be in the Y and X axis. And only in scan more. Cutting is crisp and clean in the corners and start points.
