Engraving with a largish 130w machine

I am just about ready to switch this new 4x6 foot bed enclosed, two tube laser for my old reliable 3x4 foot 130w. I have 4 years in on the old one but even old folks need to move on sometimes? Anyway... this is a big bed with a 6+ foot gantry with two laser heads coupled together- I am pretty sure that Russ would throw up on his shoes if he saw it. The theory is the 80w side would be for engraving and the 130w side for cutting. I have only been developing the 130w side to get it online for the shop- I did some testing on that side this weekend to get a feel for what is possible. This is an example of the engraving- at 300mm/sec, and the machine is not leveled and only sitting on one wheel and two feet until moving it to it's new home [the concrete on this end of the building has a drain and... lets say very good drainage, not level in any place. Anyway, I am very impressed as the machine was really rocking and rolling when vibrating at 300 and this was cheap rough plywood with sub-optimum air flow.
