Thanks for letting me in here.
I bought a lasercutting/engraving machine in 2005 in an attempt to make myself a business from it.
Unfortunately, life got a turn and didn't work out as planned and now I dusting off my old GCC Laserpro Mercury to pick up my interest again.
The machine is heavily outdated because it runs on Win XP and my frustration level reached a climax, therefore I fell for a video on youtube where a guy upgraded his old laser with a new Ruida controller system and I believed that I would be able to do the same.

I would love to get in contact with someone that done a similar upgrade and would like to share some of his/her experience doing so.

Welcome Markus- one of the first things I did was switch from a Leetro to a Ruida controller and it is certainly doable. The terminology is sometimes different from controller to controller- I would post a picture of your current controller [where we can read the lettering on it and see which terminals are actually used on your machine] and we can try to help. Hello. I have been interested in laser and everything related to laser for a long time. I just started this job by buying a malfunctioning gweike lg 1200. I reached this forum while searching for a good cutting program.
