Hey guys, my Ruida guy came through on another subject, but I also got the latest firmware ( .67 ) for the 6442, both S - 2 head, and G - 1 head. They are both on my Google Mod Page if you want them. The release notes tell you what file you need.

Hey Dave- do you mind if I post these to our FAQ section? I am about to switch back to a 6445 controller [for the third time] and I am hoping this firmware will solve my problem with the wireless hand control. Gene

Sure, the 6445 and the 6442 stuff I have is posted. All files came from Ruida, not through Cloudray or LightObject or somebody like that. No branding on the screen.

I just upgraded my 6445 to v15.01.22 - thank you for the file! - with the hope that the pulse button will activate the air relay, but it doesn't.
Some changelog would be nice from ruida, and I am keeping an eye on the topic of using the U axis as a 4th axis as discussed in this thread viewtopic.php?t=5390 .

They are aware that the neither the pulse or the Cut Scale activates the air and are making corrections. The pulse isn't as big of a deal, but I agree it should activate air.

Hi Dave- you are speaking of the 6445, right?

I have switched my 6445 controller in and out two or three times because of this [and a faulty wireless control- which Cloudray just admitted was bad and offered a refund]. Things would be easier if our wonderful technology would more consistently work.

Yes, the air assist does not activate on pulse or cut scale. It's probably one of the reasons that Russ put the over ride in place.
