RDC6445 controller

I re-installed a 6445 controller this weekend and it works. I have had it in at least twice before with fatal problems both times. On a large body laser a wireless remote hand control is a must- when I first installed the 6445 and tried the remote I got from Cloudray... it did not work. I checked everything possible [two or three times] as in my dotage
I have been more prone to making mistakes, and emailed back and forth with Cloudray several times before they finally issued a return order for it. By that time I had already bought another one from them [they did finally admit it was defective and issue a refund [and actually did it]]. I also could not make the air assist work [it also did not work on the RDC6344G that the machine was built with] but I have switches to turn Air Assist on and to cancel it if it is on when not wanted, and an indicator light as my hearing is... imperfect as well and I can't always tell if it is on.
Anyway, what could go wrong??? I reinstalled the 6445 and the new remote control works and after updating to RDC6445G-V15.01.22 the 'Wind' terminal functions as it should. After replacing the defective Reci R6 tube with a SPT tube from LightObject, I may actually live through this nightmare setup. Fingers and toes crossed.
