Ross Sadler's tube clamps

I cut one of Ross Sadler's tube clamps, and it came out nice 
BUT, I kind of slept, because it was first after I assembled it, I discovered that they ware made for 56mm tubes
Can I just enlarge it to 140% to fit a 80mm tube ?
of cause except the holes for screws, they have to remain the original size.
