vector centre lines

I convert line art bitmaps to vector format which results in perimeter vectors, a very simplistic example being the letter "O" which is generated as 2 circles.

Anyone know an application/software that can create a centreline between these vectors so that I can use "cut" rather than scan, as using cut creates nice fine lines and processes much faster.

In CorelDraw, that's the difference between outline tracing and center line tracing. Seems there's something in there on line size and type that can do that as well. I know Doug Green has dome some Corel videos on it as well.

Cheers Dave, I don't have coreldraw, but i'll have a wee look to see if it's viable. I did checkout lightburn, but from what I read it's a pretty complex algorithm. TBH it's a nice to have based on my level of requirement.

The older versions are usually much less expensive

Cheers Pete, for my level of use i'm sure the older version would suffice

I have an old copy of version 12, it's what every Top Wisdom ships with. I'll upload it to my Google Mod Page later. I only used it for a few months, so i can't say if it has that feature or not. If it's just a few drawings, make a google page or a Dropbox and I can run them for you.
