I have been following Russ now for the past couple of months and really found him informative and helpful, thanks Russ.
This was in preparation of my first Chinese laser 1390 130w Recci W6 machine that arrived on Monday.
I also got a spare tube and spare 5200 chiller.
Got it set up and tested. Everything seems to work fine except for the auto focus which just says isn't active, so probably just a setting.
Very impressive machine for the money, including shipping.
Nothing damaged broken or scratched.
Super impressed. Got it of Aliexpress. Happy to refer the vendor if permissible here.
Looking for the files Russ used to do his laser target circles etc. As This is what I should nail before I get too carried away.
I'm an early retired Toolmaker and this is just to keep my brain from discharging all cells and a hobby, to add to my 20 3d printers.
Proficient with F360, so yes was just being lazy looking for file. I look forward to sharing.

Welcome Mark. Be sure to backup your vendor settings, they are easy to loose and difficult to recover.

Some people might think that 20 3D printers is excessive, but I understand. I have a similar machine and my advise to you with the Reci tubes is to test both of them for quality of the beam. I have two new W6s with bad beams [shaped like an 'O' instead of a normal burn in the center]. I believe I have posted some pictures on the forum- if you can't find them I can re-post. The sooner you realize a problem and try to get the tube replaced the better are your chances of success. Gene
