I am relatively new to Laser cutting and engraving, though I've been doing electronics and "computer stuff" since the early 1970s, long before it was popular. I have had a consulting business designing electronic systems since 1984, and it has taken me down some exciting roads - we've done everything from flashing Christmas tree lights to control systems for major factories. I have, in addition to lots of electronics stuff, a CNC mill, a couple of 3D printers and now a K40.
