Hi.

My laser just packed in all of a sudden. I happened to have a power cut as it happened. However my Machine didn't recover.

I changed the fuse and it turned on, however I had no controls or ability to use my machine still. Iv order a psu and should be arriving soon... However I had a water leak. It the pump that sends the water to the tube.

Iv searched the Internet but can't find anyone else having the problem, so unsure what the part is called. Or how to get around the problem.

Any help is hugely appreciated

Regards
Nas

Is that the actual water pump or a device to detect water pressure [must have flow before the tube will fire]? In any case you have a real problem depending upon where your electronics are located. This is dangerous and you need someone who understands electricity before you power this up. Gene

The video is from inside the machine. I have a chiller unit attached.

I'm thinking it is some kind of pump that assists the water up to tube

If you have a chiller, the pump will be inside that- this must be a flow sensor. It appears it will have to be replaced or repaired. There are not any 'standard' parts, each mfgr. makes it up as they go.

Thank you gene for your help.

I was on Google trying every possible option with laser machine leaks. I felt I was hitting brick walls everywhere.

After being told what the part was. I found a YouTube clip on it.

Iv ordered the part shown. Found one in UK so should have it in a couple of days. It looks hopeful and I'm guessing that the safety mechanism is what is stopping my machine from firing to life.
