Machine details as follows

RDC6445G controller?

X and Y axis servo motors, U axis rotary belt table auto feeding and partition function, Pen function selection.

Machine is used for processing of filter cloth materials, Pen function for marking of sewing lines , auto feeding with gantry press plates, roll feeder and partition function for processing panels longer than the table cutting area.

We are currently using RDWorks V8 8.01.54 but found the software to be buggy especially when using the auto feeding function.

When machine is paused on the control panel while U axis is feeding , the clamp plates and roll feeder is still active only the machine axis will pause (X,Y,U) , we are using Out1 pin on CN1 Interface to energise a relay which enables the clamp plates and roll feeder when the U axis is feeding, this works fine except when the machine pauses the Out1 still remains active.

Any advice or guidance would be appreciated.

Welcome Mark - recommend backing up your vendor settings - they are easily lost and difficult to recover.

That sounds like a very serious machine you have. RDworks has always been buggy, I quit updating long ago and have now moved to Lightburn which is a good software but I have no idea if they can do what you need to do. They do have a free trial tho and they speak English so they will actually answer questions and know their software's capabilities well. I cannot help beyond that- if any members even understand the issue I am sure they will help if they can. Gene
