Hi, I'm having trouble connecting my RDC6445 to RD Works.
I know that my USB cord isn't the issue, as I have no trouble connecting to LightBurn.
I need to reset the Vendor Settings, but my technician only knows how to do this through RDWorks.
Every time I've tried fixing it myself, I've only managed to make the problem worse.

RDworks has always been very 'iffy' with USB connection- if possible use Ethernet connections. Otherwise sometime reloading RDw while crossing your fingers will help. Vendor file changes in Lightburn are actually very similar to RDw and easier in most cases. Do not reset the Vendor settings before saving a copy of the first...

That's the problem, I did that before I knew any better. I didn't save the Vendor files first.

We have a forum titled Rescue files with the Vendor/Machine files from various machines and an info file about how to use/install/compare them. This is a very common problem... you are now in the club

Yeah, but I still cannot get my laser to connect to RDWorks to upload those files.

You said that LightBurn will connect... your life will be much more pleasant if you use LB... IMHO.
