Just got new Chinese 60W laser cutter. SH G570.

I found some DXF files and also produced some RD files with RDWorks. When I copy to a flash USB drive, no files show up when I press Files and udrive on LC display. Should these files show up? I get an error no files. I know the files aren't correct in terms of setting up colors but I just wanted to see if my basic workflow is correct.

Any tips?

Also, I don't see a way to download directly from PC to LC and wondering if that should work to.

1. When using a USB to move files you save the file as a Rd ...not a Rld. (*.rd)
2. Be sure you are using the correct port on the laser to upload the files.....some machines have more than one USB port and they have different functions

You should be able to hook up your pc via a USB or Ethernet cable

I have a problem with that also.

I save the file to a USB drive using the RDworks software.
(saved as a .rd file on the USB drive)
Place the USB drive into the proper USB slot on the machine.
Press the file button.
Press the read Udrive button.
As soon as I select the file the entire panel locks up and none of the buttons will work.
I must turn the machine off and then back on to reset it.

Using version 8.00.25 of RDworks but will upgrade to the latest version.
Perhaps that will solve this problem.
