15% Glass Filled Nylon - Engraving

Is there a setting that would be a good start to engrave Glass Filled Nylon? Marking and Oxidizing if possible, Clean deep engraving another option.
Any Help would be appreciated.
I know a fiber can oxidize fairly easily, but unsure about CO2.

Welcome Winslow- it appears you joined a while back and this is your first post? I know nothing of glass filled nylon but if you provided more details you would have a better chance of getting an answer I think. Are you trying to engrave a molded part or sheet and what color? My guess is that this will take some experimentation as this is not a common material in my experience. Gene

so the material is ULTEM 2200. Its actually a 30% glass filled Nylon housing.
I'm trying to engrave it with wither names or simple logo's.
Color is Black and it is a molded part. I doubt I will be able to oxidize like a fiber laser marking. So my option is to provide some depth to create a visually appealing look.

Winslow, Ultem 2200 is actually the engineering plastic PEI, not nylon. Ultem is Sabic's (formerly GE Plastics) trademark name for PEI. Kapton is another trademark name (I believe belonging to DuPont) for a type of PEI (or PI if you want to be specific).

According to Universal Laser, both CO2 and Fiber lasers may have difficulty making a clean mark on PEI due to charring. I don't have any personal experience trying to laser it.
