Hello, my name is Ashley Hardin. I work at a video game store in Chantilly, VA, as a laser engraver making custom merchandise for the store to sell and for customers to commission. I've been using my company's Boss LS 1620 for just over a year now. I use Windows 7 (it's the only operating system that supports the company's unique back-end interface), Adobe Illustrator CS3 to make the images I engrave, and RDWorks V8.01.28 to use the machine. I have a third-party detachable rotary with custom 3d-printed extensions and a CW-5000 industrial chiller to cool the machine. I joined the forum so I could ask other users questions about my setup that Google or the user manual can't answer. I hope I'm able to do that!
