NotePad++ Info and sources for viewing parameter files

NotePad++ [a free program] is a very useful tool for laser users- it will load and open both RDworks
files and Lightburn files and with a free plugin will compare two of them and point out to you how they
differ. This will work on Parameter [Vendor or Recovery] files and the Library files from both RDw and LB.
It will take a bit of poking around to find the parameter you are looking for [these files are 550 lines long but
with a little patience it is amazing what you can figure out.
Uses- compare your param file with a downloaded 'Rescue' file from the forum- some differences will be
expected with different size and speed/power machines but if you look at the True/false and yes/no values
you can often figure out what will aid you in getting your machine to work as expected. Good Luck, Gene
