Hi

I made a file with several squares that I want the machine to scan and would like each square to have different power and speed settings. Is it possible to do this keeping the squares on the same layer?

Thanks

No.
You can create a gradient that varies on one layer and that will cause power to vary if you select " output direct" in the layer setting and define a unique minimum power and unique maximum power..
However, speed will be constant based upon the speed setting you define in the later settings.

Download the file in this link and run it with editing - see if that does what you may wan

So you don't really have control on the power variations right? Power will increase/decrease between min and max but I won't know exactly by how much. Correct?

Correct

BUT ONLY if you select "Output Direct" otherwise I am unsure what the system will do.
