Hello all,

I'm in Herefordshire in Brexit Britain, on my 2nd Laser cutter but the 1st that uses RDWorks (my old machine uses Lasercut)

My new machine is: HPC LS6840 PRO Laser (680 x 400mm Bed 50W tube)

I cut MDF Acrylic and engrave wood.

Don't work much as am winding down for retirement (will continue to make stuff as I like it)

Keen to get a CNC router and 3D printer.

My name is Phil

Married, 4 grown up kids

And I have questions

Welcome Phil- retirement is a busy time if you are lucky. Save your laser vendor files as they are commonly lost and a pain to replace. I would strongly suggest the Prusa Mini printer as almost bulletproof and reasonably priced. The Prusa MK3S+ is a great [and larger] printer but 3X the cost and the electronics are getting a bit long in the tooth but still work well. Small CNC routers are getting pretty competitive also and great fun. Gene
