Hello,
I am Rainer from Austria near Vienna and I just bought a 1500x1500mm CO2 laser with a 150/180W tube, active water cooler and a 4 stage filter unit.
I have many years experience with CNC milling, CNC turning/milling nearly all metalls, plastic, carbon, aramid and of course 3D printing.
I am happy that I found that forum to share experiences and problems.

Regards Rainer

Welcome Rainer - be sure to back up your vendor settings if you have not already.

Welcome Rainer- is your machine a cabinet or flatbed? I think your experience with CNC will serve you well- lasers tend to be a bit more fussy but if you realize that these machines are pretty much hand built in low quantities you will do fine. We recommend you save your Vendor settings [info in the FAQ section] it may save you some time/trouble later on. Gene

It is a cabinet laser.

@a bit more fussy
After offloading the laser the first thing was to level housing and adjusting linear guides with a waves spirit level. I makes mirror and lense adjustment much easier.
