I found this forum because I was searching for a better manual for RDWorks software. I've had multiple issues working with the software, most are related to the camera locating functionality with my BesCutter 150W laser.
I recently got an error "Model Distance Limit!" I haven't seen it mentioned in any forum, can't find anything on Google. Any help would be appreciated!
In the meantime I'm going to download the updated RDWorks manual on this forum since everyone has said it's such an upgrade from the translated manual from RDWorks
PS: I use RDMarkVision v1.0.57 software (the installation tech told us to use that software because it plays well with the camera)
Accessories: I have a combining lenses, pin tables [homebuilt], honeycomb tables , wireless remote, Modifed Ultimate Air Assist, home built non-powered rotary device, PrusaMK4 and Mini Prusa printers.
If you have not yet, you may want to try the Lightburn free trial if they have one for your machine.- not sure if your machine is a metal cutting machine or not?

I actually bought a licensed version of Lightburn but haven't had the time to set it up with our camera system installed on our machine (not even sure it's compatible with Lightburn)
Just wanted to provide an update, I contacted the manufacturer and solved the problem..
Turns out the errors, "Second Position Error", "Model Distance Limit", "Not Find Target", and "Mark Point Too Little" are all similar errors. They're all related to the DXF in the software not being perceived as perfectly matching the physical material on the cut bed...
The technician who helped me recommended I double-check my units, double-check the size of my reference dots (DXF should match physical dots), adjust the position and angle of my material on the cut bed relative to the laser gantry, uncheck "valid zone" under the "manual" tab, and increase the "length error" and "angle error" under the "model set" tab. Then they said if none of those solves my problem, select the entire DXF in the software, lock the proportion, and increase or reduce the size by 0.1% until the software thinks the drawing matches the physical material.
Those errors have presented roadblocks many times, I wasn't able to find any solutions online so hopefully this will help anyone in the same position in the future.
