Hey, recently i've bought my first laser cutter. I used it normaly before Christmas and New year time and all worked well. Today needed to do something on it and unfortunetly i have issue with laser.. So i use industrial chiller but everything is fine with cooling because in other way it would trigger the alarm. All axis are working, i used different files even this that i've already finished before.. It's doing all work but won't use laser ;/ I thought it was because i've changed vendor settings in RDWorks but i've write factory settings that i've saved before changing anything at it also didn't helped at all..
Any other ideas please? I'm not sure it would be something broken because machine is actually brand new i've got it three week ago...
Settings if i need to write it:
Laser Machine Make or Type:3050
Laser Power:50W
Laser Bed Size:30x50 cm
Home Position:TR
Control Software:RDWORKS
RDWorks Version:V8.01.33
Ruida Controller:RDC6442
Windows Version:10

				On the off chance ....
On some lasers there is a separate switch for the laser tube , it is on the side of my machine where the power cable plugs in. Could this have been bumped so that the laser does not fire, the machine performs normally except for the firing.

There is probably an interlock that is not working unless Ian's suggestion solved the issue.
Do you have the doors and lid shut

It's possible the water-protect sensor/switch inside the chiller failed (mine did too). You can test it by disconnecting the sensor cable from the back of the chiller, then use a paperclip to jumper the wires at the end of the cable. If yours is like my chiller, there's three wires. I don't know which wires you need to jumper, but there's only 3 possibilities.
Jumper the wires, then hit the pulse button to test fire the laser. If this works, then you need a new chiller, or at least you need to replace the switch inside the chiller but that's way beyond my skillset.
In an emergency, you can use the laser with the jumpered cable - just triple-check to make sure the chiller is turned on before using the laser since you are bypassing the water-protect feature of the laser.

Hey, i lost so much time for it but i solved my problem. Randomly i changed cooling from industrial chiller cw 3000 for basic pump in bucket and it worked out. It seems like there was air in the system and chiller didn't comunicate that. Chiller was pumping water normally but maybe sensor wont let it go?
