Hello, my name is Daniel, but my frends call me Dumy. I am an electronics diy hobbist, focused on practical and applyed electronics.I live in Romania, i like electronics since my childhood. Until now, at 35 years, i made numerous electronic things, but more noticeable was a CNC and the most recent one is the laser cutter.
The laser cutter have a GRBL controller with arduino nano , and a 45W CO2 laser tube. All the electronics are made by me. Including the laser power supply with high voltage transformer, the main power supply(36V/20A) and the stepper drivers. The mechanical part are cut and assembled by me, i have used 20X20mm AL profile, for gantry a V-groove profile , freon cooling for sub-ambient water cooling of laser tube, and plexiglas for external case.

In the near future i want to make myself a laser powermeter.
