Hi,

My name is Toon and I live in Belgium, currently I'm Building a basic Laser Cutter from scratch for R&D purposes. Using unknown XY-axis with belts and stepper motors, a Ruida RDC6445S controller, Chinese M542T Drivers and a Neje laser module with 55W output. Which I'm going to upgrade tot a 100W Co2 tube later. Everything is working fine now, it didn't take too long to get it running. Purpose is to get to know the controller better for making (speed) improvements on a prototype of a machine we are building.
Difficulties I have/had was finding out the purpose of the 3 factors in the cut parameters in the user settings. And defining max speeds and accelerations for my axis, Which of I don't have any documentation on.

Welcome Toon. My recommendation would be to find a machine sold by a laser manufacture that uses the same steppers and controller and see if we have someone on Forum with that machine that is willing to share their settings.
