RDC 6442G Controller

Anyone know why the latest update (v. 08.01.67) for this controller wouldn't be a match? I ended up with the previous version working, but I'm troubleshooting an issue and wanted to make sure it was as up to date as possible. I have no idea how to test a controller, but I think I blew the power supply a few weeks ago and have since replaced it. It's running cut lines fine, but seems to fire intermittently on a scan. I'm determined to rebuild this machine, but don't want to start buying parts that don't need replacing.
And on a side note, I ended up buying another 50w to replace the old one with when I couldn't get my head wrapped around the issue, stupidly assuming I could just plug it in and use years worth of settings. Yeah, that didn't work...
