Solenoid not closing

I have been trying to get my air assist to be a bit more automatic with the use of solenoid. Everything seems to be working right until the laser is done working, it won't shut down the solenoid. I Have measured the controller and it isn't sending any voltage through the wind connection after the laser is done. By taking off the power block from the solenoid I can get it to turn off and even if I put it straight on again it won't come on so it seems like the solenoid is still charged somehow even though there is no power on it. Attached is a picture of the solenoid.

It shouldn't be a bad solenoid because I have changed the whole setup twice.

I'm using Ruida controller - RDC6442S-B

What is the minimum operating pressure of that solenoid. I know you are tying the problem to the power, but most solenoids have a minimum pressure to function properly. If you are using the little pump it came with, you could be below that pressure. Also, did you put the blocking diode in? Without it, I'm told a little leaking reverse current can keep it open.

Can't say more than that. I have three AirTac solenoids in my current configuration, and except for literally burning one out by hooking it to the main power instead of the STATUS terminal, I have had zero problem with them.

Alright, putting a little 20-ohm resistor on the wind signal got this working right.

Question still stands, do you have the blocking diode in place? From everything I have read, it is a requirement withe the opto isolators and the generic solenoids.
