Hi everyone,
We are looking to replace our laser tube but not sure which would be appropriate. Our laser has an 80w tube with 100w peak can with our blue laser from omtech. We are looking at the RECI tubes, one is 75w with 90w peak, the other is 90w with 100w peak. Not sure which we should get. Thanks in advance for any help.

Add SPT to your list of suppliers. And their TR series has the red dot integrated in the tube for easy alignment. Will go all the way to the cut if you aren't using GaAs lens'.

I have a small supply of RECI 130w tubes with beam patterns that are unuseable- I would be very cautious with RECI now days. That said my last successful tube purchase was from LightObject- I believe them to be dependable. They have SPI [which I intended to buy] but I bought GSI [which they now market as JK laser] This was a great tube and I am very satisfied.
Marco is the main guy there and I believe they actually test every tube and require a statement that you have a large enough chiller to handle the tube before you purchase [a good thing]. They have RECI as well if you are hung up on the brand. Gene

We arnt set on any brand, still trying to compare them. How does the SPT tr series red dot work, is it like using a beam combiner?

That is my understanding. I have used the combining lens type for 5 years and they can be a little fussy, but worth it. I use the one LightObject sells with the red led in the base. And, no, I have no interest in the company, but have dealt with them for 5-6 years with no issues.
