Hi Guys

Put a new tube in about a month ago. All fine untill my pump died. New pump put in and had to move tube to get air out but no dramas doing this. Now when I pulse to first mirror I get 4 dots, pulse a few times and burns a perfect circle, anyone have any ideas why as it has lower power now. Pulse beam also veers leftish at output from tube. Thanks in advance.

Very odd - no idea what the issue may be except the tube should not do that (obviously) so I would-be very suspicious of the tube

I have bought 2-3 new tubes with bad output beams- the hollow circle seems to be common. I my case they were all Reci tubes- it appears that someone is selling the reject tubes on the side. I would try to return that tube, document the bad beam and with luck you will get a good tube.

Hi Joe, sounds a strange one, i'd wonder if something has worked loose inside the tube and possibly moving when the pump is active or maybe vibration, deflecting the beam.

Certainly agree with the previous, try to return the tube. Was it UK, how long to replace I wonder

I've been sick for a while but all good now. Never got to return it.....its still working but limited power. I'll probably buy a new tube but have just come across these Longer lasers and looks impressive, going to do a bit of research on these.
