I just finished building the electronic cabinet for my 600x400.

I have 3 things I wanted to ask.

1) I wanted a past through in this design, so I have 2 y-axis steppers (I am making a system very similar to Philippe Rommen's design). I wanted to slave the U-axis (left hand y-axis stepper) to the Y-axis stepper (right hand y-axis stepper). I can do this on my Gecko controller on my CNC mill, but I have looked through the manual and it doesn't look like this is an option on the Ruida. Am I correct, or is there a way to slave the U-axis to the Y-axis.

2) I cannot get the left hand stepper for the y-axis to work. (Note that when I start the system it does not home, it just stays in its present location.) The right side y-axis stepper work fine when jogging (I unplugged the u-axis), but what ever I do I cannot get the left hand y-axis stepper to work properly. When I plug the left stepper into the y-axis port, it runs the head to the near edge of the travel. All I can think of is a bad stepper motor. Note that the x-axis and the z-axis steppers work fine. I ordered a new stepper from amazon, but I wanted to know if I may have missed something or if a bad stepper is a common occurrence.

3)Finally, I cannot get the limit switches to work. I have set them up as normally closed and I see the light on the controller showing the status. Due to the design I set them up in +X and +Y (That is where I'd like to home). The trouble I am having is that the manual I've downloaded does not match up with the windows in the Ruida controller. I am running the latest firmwear (I purchased the controller in Dec.) Can anyone tell me where I can get the latest manual?

Thanks,

Lauren
