RUIDA 6432G how to get homing and air assist working

I have spent many hours, read many posts, watched countless videos on this controller to try and get homing to work and the air assist wired and working. I tried many suggestions from other posts to no avail. But after much experimentation and luckly without burning anything out on this ruida board, which I am upgrading from an omtec smoothie board , I HAVE IT ALL WORING PROPERLY !!!. And because I have been helped from other groups and posts, it's time for me to give back,so here we go. now this works on my machine which is a highly modified K 40 with a 12x24 bed and now using the cloudray ruida 6432G, which homes to the left rear, so if thats not similar to yours this may not work for you !
HOMING: I am also doing this using RDWORKS software ( I also mostly use Lightburn but for set up I use RDWORKS)
1. go to vendor settings and click read
2. in the X axis set DIR polarity to positive, set limiter polarity to negative, then check the box for enable homing
3. repeat these same setting in the y axis
4 then click write, I then hit the reset button on the controller screen
5. on the right side of RDWORKS clik on user, then select auxillary then under homeing parameter change the X and Y auto home to yes
6 now when you turn your machine on it will auto home.

NEXT IS WIRING THE AIR ASSIST:
1. you will need a TWTADE/DC 24v 10 A relay 6 or 7 bucks on amazon
2. Tailonz pneumatic 24 volt n/c solenoid valve (# 2vo25-08) about 16 bucks on amazon0 the resistor is already installed on it
3. ruida 6432G CONTROLLER
now the solenoid does have a positive and negative side and it does matter how it is hooked up.
I am attaching photos to help. You run a 24v positive line from the terminal where 24v power goes to the controller, you run that to the # 1 terminal on the relay, then you run a line from the # 2 terminal on the relay to the positive side of the solenoid, then run a line from the negative side of the solenoid to #5 output ground terminal on the controller, then you run a line from the #1 AUX AIR terminal of the controller to the # 3 terminal on the relay , then you run a line from the input # 1. 24v positive input terminal to the # 5 terminal on the relay Imageand the wiring is complete
4, now turn on your machine and go to the control display , hit menu, then scroll over to function press enter, hen scroll down to diagnosis. then scroll to AUX AIR and when you hit enter if the light on the relay and the light on the solinoid light up you have them wired correctly. Congradulations !!!
Hope this helps you out .

THank you for taking the time to document how you did it for the sake of others.

I did forget one thing ,after you make the changes in the user area of RDworks make sure to write it to the controller

Thanks for all informations!
I have same controller, so it will help a lot. I have one question about solenoid, why is it connected trough relay?
Solenoid is almost same as relay, only difference is that in one case coil under power moves contacts together in other case opens air valve. On schematiscs they sugest to connect solenoid directly to controller. Relays are for out put 1 and 2. I was thinking to use DA SSR relay for external turning ON/OFF compressor or other stuff. I was thinking to trick controller that those two outputs work as status lamp.

Because the controller doesn't have the correct output to operate the solenoid - it would probably either not work at all or draw to much current and blow the controller or at least a fuse.

Good to know that. Thank you!
