Hi all,
I began my laser journey earlier this year with a 5W diode laser and have just recently acquired a Vevor 80W CO2. Have been having a blast so far and now that i've got this CO2 the scope of possibilities has opened up so much for me! The amount to learn has expanded as well but I enjoy that part too.
I was enjoying engraving images with the diode laser and have been attempting to work out achieving a quality engrave with the CO2 but it has proven difficult so far. I can achieve a somewhat okay looking picture but i'm not really happy with it still - so the testing and learning continues! I stumbled upon some videos by Russ and ended up finding my way here. It looks like there's a wealth of information available in these forums and i'm looking forward to getting into them some more.
