I've had a laser cutter for a year now, but really have not used it much as i got distracted by 3D printing and learning the CAD software (FreeCAD). i got teh cutter as surplus form a company that really never used it.

I just finished adding a beam combiner and a laser dot for positioning to my unit, and cleaning up a bunch of the wiring.

I came across the forum while looking for more detailed information about the Rudia 6642 controller as I want to add automated air assist and automatically control my exhaust fan, so it is always on when needed, but at the same time, i am not blasting out expensive heated air when I don't need to be.

Hi FTL,

Happy New Year and welcome to the Forum.

If you haven't already done it, you should make a copy of your Ruida Configuration files.
