Hi everyone, I just joined today looking for a better manual on the Rudia controller RDC6332G
my background:
- Toolmaker by trade specializing in building special machinery for the heat transfer industry. have machinery all over the world making radiator and heat exchanger cooling fins
- Operated a sales and service department for the past 20 traveling around the world selling and servicing the above machinery
- Recently retired after 38 yrs,
- Always enjoyed woodworking and have an extensive shop that I use to create wooden projects
- New to lasers, a year ago purchased a little Omtech K40 that I had up and running in just under an hour. made lots of coasters and little engraving gifts
- Overhauled my Omtech as stated in several other posts, mirrors, fixtures, better air nozzle,
- The smaller Omtech doesn't cut as well or as fast as I would like and due to the small stepper motors, loses position quite easily at higher speeds.
- Purchased an ACCTECH 1390 used with only 50 hours on it. mainly due to it's size, robustness and cutting ability
- This machine has been quite a learning curve, not sure if the person I purchased it from reset everything or not, but all the parameters were messed up
- Also did some repair on this to make it a bit more ridged (can talk about this more if interested)
- Have done some wiring on it as the connections were quite low quality
- Have it running / cutting pretty well, but not engraving very well yet, very slow
- I joined for hopes to get better documentation of the machine parameters and expected machine speeds
looking forward to this forum
