I bought a laser and it was reset to factory original with Chinese as the only language selection. For many reasons I decided to just replace the Topwisdom TLA1 with a Ruida 8445 which I found a deal on.

I have it running and burning, but a couple problems remain and not all features are working. Rather than making a laundry list here I am hoping to solve them one at a time.

My first problem is on startup, X, Y, and Z values are all 99999. I've done what I could find, checking X&Y limit switch function, and setting machine homing to the correct upper right corner to no avail. I can reset the values to zero after startup and the machine functions, but I can't get the startup to act normally. any ideas or help is appreciated.

Well, I solved the problem. The display indicates a homing error. A wire came loose on the X limit switch so homing failed. The display I saw was the failure indicator on an 8445 controller, a bit different than 6442 or 6445.
