My letters [or graphics] engrave individually instead of linearly

- Accessories: I have a combining lenses, pin tables [homebuilt], honeycomb tables , wireless remote, Modifed Ultimate Air Assist, home built non-powered rotary device, PrusaMK4 and Mini Prusa printers.
This is caused by 'Independent Output' being checked in the Layer Perimeters. It is common for this checkoff to appear at random times in RDworks. One of the lovable quirks of our lovely RDw.

Here's a question, Will it take more time to engrave letters linearly vs individually? Sometimes engraving a long set of words, sames like the laser travel time is slow.

The answer depends on how the letter are laid out
In the first line the letter will engrave faster using engraving as a set (linear in your words), the second line will engrave faster doing each letter individually because of the distance the head has to move to engrave each character
