Hi all,

My Name is Dennis.

I have a fair amount of experience with other lasers (Epilog, and Full Spectrum), but I've gotten my hands on a red and black Chinese-made model.

This one is a 100w beastie (or so I've been told) and has a 900mm by 500mm bed (that's just shy of 36" x24").

The machine came with a Top Wisdom TL-410 controller, and I am in the midst of setting things up and swapping it for a RDC6445G.

I'm looking forward to getting to know RDWorks and Lightburn both and figuring out how to get them play nicely with Illustrator and Photoshop.

I'm just poking around a bit and found this forum from a YouTube video (RD Works Learning Lab 77). Very helpful!

Anyway ... I'll be about.

Cheers!

Welcome Dennis, join right in and we all learn something. I will be interested in the 6445 controller, the controller looks very similar to the more common 6442 but the readout panel is quite different. Thanks Gene
