Balsa wood

A friend has asked me to cut him some aircraft model designs from balsa wood, anyone any experience cutting balsa, any tips or power/speed advice.

I use balsa and bass wood for hat patches, it engraves wonderful if you ever need to engrave it (I engrave it at 450mm/s and 25% pwr). As far a cutting it, it cuts like butter. I cut mine at 40mm/s 40% pwr, but my tube is old.
