Accessories: I have a combining lenses, pin tables [homebuilt], honeycomb tables , wireless remote, Modifed Ultimate Air Assist, home built non-powered rotary device, PrusaMK4 and Mini Prusa printers.
I have a 13 yo young lady protege- who is delightfully bright. She and I built two Creality Ender 3 printer kits a couple weekends ago- she kinda followed my lead but assembled it all herself, and then took it home and learned enough on Cura slicer [which I am not familiar with- I use Simplify3D] to start making things and started having problems so my sweetie picked her and her Ender 3 up [it is her great niece] so I could help her. What she really wanted to do was make a laser project from Make:magazine [which I subscribe to and got her a subscription]. So I downloaded it and set it up to engrave and cut the pieces with her helping and by the time we made all the parts it was time for her to go back home- threw the parts in a box and she left [with the other printer, which works fine]. She sent this picture to us, she found some .25" dowel and assembled it. I love it....

So I was poking around in the many Make:mag projects and got caught up in this Dymaxion globe and have been converting it to cut and engrave as I have promised a globe to another very little girl. I am not sure of the licensing on this stuff- it's ok to build for subscribers, but don't think they would like people to distribute it. Anyway I have a few hours in converting the files into something RDw can use [it was much easier in Lightburn but I am not fluid in that program yet ]

The days that I keep my gratitude higher than
my expectations, Well, I have really good days. Ray Wylie Hubbard- unfortunately deceased
I too saw that light switch in the magazine. It's also out there in the wild, unrelated to subscriber requirements. What I recall about the article for the switch is that the author disparaged those who might create the switch with a 3D printer. This generated more than a few comments as one might expect.
It looks great in your photo and would probably look pretty good as a 3D printed model. I can't find the link now, due to drain bamage, but it's pretty much open access.
