Hi,

i have a 4040 chinese laser machine with a controler working with laserdraw. I would like to change it for the RDC6445G ruida controler (https://www.cloudraylaser.com/products/ ... 6020536371), and i don't understand how to use/connect the autofocus. Someone has this controler ? The notice says to connect to the D-axis... but i don't know how.
i join 2 pictures : the wiring diagriam and the notice about the autofocus.
Sory for my bad english, this is not my native language ;-)

Fire extinguisher (for big fires)

I think on this controller, I'd use the "Z" axis.

Hi Jeff,

thanks for your response, you're probaly right ;-) there is only X-Y-Z-U inputs, and autofocus use the Z-axis.

J-C- where did you find the focus document? I don't think that is for this controller series.

Hi Gene,

i found this on the RDC6445 notice (the last page) : https://www.yusto.ru/files/file/558eb44 ... 92c06958ee
There is a autofocus button on the controler (see the picture).

Very interesting- and a lot of reading, I will look deeper into it later. It appears that you can set the Vendor setting from the control panel as well as being a bit easier to change normal settings with the number pad. Thanks Gene
