I wouldn't expect Lightburn to speak to it without some work either on reflashing different compatible firmware to the board or by having the board added to Lightburn.
Generally if the source software came from smoothie firmware or was derived or forked it 'should' carry the original license forward.
https://github.com/Smoothieware/Smoothieware and down the bottom you will see it is offered under a GNU license.
The Bin file offered here is not open source and is done for both ease of user uploading but it also stops reading the contents and modifying it.

The following is feelgood waffle and I see zero evidence of it elsewhere
GENERAL: Is WAZER open source?
Being makers and product designers we understand the drawbacks and benefits of both open and closed hardware systems. We intend on having WAZER’s electronics hardware be open for the numerous benefits it can bring to waterjet technology.
If you are able to confirm the firmware and hardware was derived from Smoothieware I would consider pushing them to release the source code.
