Hi all,

I am Matthias living in Berlin and I came to this forum through the Video Tutorial Series of Russ. I am very impressed of him how accurate and detailed he is investigating in every single topic. Wow! Since last Tuesday I am the owner of the 50W (ok its 40W due to Russ) Chinese Laser Engraver and Cutter.
Unfortunately the Laser Tube is not firing. I did two tests due the Chinese seller. They sent me two tutorial videos were I tested the power supply including the high voltage outputs. Let´s see what comes next. In the meantime I have ordered another tube and also a power supply.

I am an industrial designer and very interested in creating things. I do work as a freelancer for the vending business and also founded a company end of last year. I own two 3D Printers and now I am so happy to have another valuable tool to make dreams come true. Russ I thank you a lot and wish you health, prosperity and happyness.

Thanks a lot for the people who run this forum. I really appreciate it. I will do my very best to contribute to it.

Welcome Matthias. Sorry to read about you laser problems -hopefully they provide repair parts with out charge.
