Received my 50w laser last week and I finally get to join this forum. I have been teaching 3D design for 25 years at a local college, and teach and run a Digital Fabrication lab for about 5 of those last years. I know my way around 3d printers, laser cutters, and also been learning desktop cnc machines this last year. Been lucky enough to work with a 100w laser at the college I work at. I decided to get my own after almost a year of watching Russ's YouTube channel and hours of online research. Russ, you have made it much easier for the rest of us (THANKS!) Already having fun using it and hopefully make enough money with it to pay for the hobby.

Best wishes to all,
-Gary-

Welcome Gary- there are several of us who dabble in all the things you mention, and you should fit right in. I learned Fusion 360 last year and have had endless fun creating parts and models that I actually need [or want]. Gene
