My name is John and I have a laser-cutting business in North Hollywood, California.
I bought a Universal Laser Systems X-25 laser in 1998 to assist me in my sign-making business at the time, that laser is still in use and pays for itself every year. I do lasering almost exclusively now, mostly cutting for local plastics shops and other businesses such as prop makers, model makers and local craft businesses.
I am here to learn about the Chinese laser that a customer let's me use in exchange for design and file preparation work.

Welcome John- happy to have you share your experience with us, and hope to be able to help you along your Chinese CO2 path. I think that your RF laser is way better at engraving but the cut is pretty comparable. Rabbit laser is a sponsor here and sells a good product. Gene

If I were a younger man and still hungry [and energetic] I would definitely be starting a laser business, would love to hear what you do with yours.
