Hello, my name is Cris Alcasid. Not new to CNC or 3D printing, but new to laser cutting and engraving. I have a 100W laser, 1000x600 red box from the far east. Divorced now and finally getting back into the creative side of this. I can hopefully now concentrate and put in 150% and start creating again. Resources like this are hard to find and would like to contribute any way I can. I recently switched to Fusion 360, a little harder than Sketchup, but I will get used to it. It will just take me some time.

Welcome Cris- we are very lucky having all these avenues of manufacturing available to us at quite reasonable cost- I am just becoming semi-proficient with Fusion 360 and it has opened a whole new world to me. Settle in and let us know what we can help you with. Gene

Thanks Gene! I appreciate that. So far, I have cut a few things, which is relatively easy. The hardest part so far that I have come across is etching/scanning. I have done 3 water bottles and they all came out different. Starting to notice that you have to inspect things carefully so that you can get the right output.

Yessir- another of those damnedable machines that do what you tell them to, instead of what you think you told it to.
